I love trying new apps and in the world of finance, there's plenty of options to choose from.
To save you a little bit of time and maybe narrow down the choices, here are some of my favorites:
Probably my favorite personal finance app at this time. I use Marcus as the "home" for everything involving my finances.
All my accounts and cards are linked, use it for my emergency fund and other savings goals, can view every transaction made, monthly spending summaries, the interface is amazing - I can't think of anything negative to say about it (except it doesn't link with Apple Card just yet).
Public • A great platform that prioritizes investor education. No retirement account options at this time. Great UI/UX. Easy to use. 9/10
Altruist • The best modern investment platform in my opinion. They're not fully available to the public, but still revolutionizing and setting new standards in the investment management world. 10/10
Wealthfront • Designed for those who want to do it on their own, but with a little guidance. Good app, good platform, easy to use. 8/10
Rally Rd • For those looking to dabble in alternative investments, look no further than Rally. From dinosaur skulls to signed Jordan's, they continue to bring new investments to the platform every week. 8.5/10
Tiller Money • Excel nerds, welcome to your new heaven. Tiller beautifully breaks down your finances into digestible charts and graphs. It can feel overwhelming at first, but it may be worth the learning curve if you want a more in-depth, hands on experience with your money.
Google drive • Staying simple here. Since most people have a Google account, this is usually the easiest option. You can create a special folder for all things money & life, create subfolders for the different documents, can share it with your spouse - very effective.
I'll be writing a full blog post with more companies and more in-depth feedback soon.
