If you've ever created content, you know how tough it can be to show up every single day.
Sometimes the motivation isn't there.
Sometimes your creative flame dwindles.
Sometimes you don't want to get on camera.
I've been there and I was tired of feeling bad about myself for not putting out an abundance of content every single day.
I've written in a journal almost every day for the past 3 years and always viewed writing as an escape, not as a way of creating content.
But then on February 1st, I decided I was going to commit to writing at least an hour every single day for a few reasons:
The benefits have been better than I ever could've imagined.
And now after 3 months, I can't imagine the guilt I'd feel if I didn't write every day. For example today, since I usually publish early in the morning, I felt the pull to come write this instead of just pushing it off.
I think the exact definition of a habit is something you do subconsciously and consistently and while I don't like I'll ever be able to write subconsciously, I think I've successfully built a daily writing habit.
